Le Steamer
le Steamer is made by hand in limited quantities
Production at the "Terres de Chabrouillas" pottery studio is entirely made by hand. Mostly thrown on the wheel, some pieces are one of a kind, others like le Steamer are made in small series. So if the size and colour of your choice is not in stock don't worry, the Steamer you want is being made at the moment, or will be made to order within 5 weeks, at the most.

What happens inside a Steamer?
During the cooking process steam rises from the boiling water in the saucepan through the central chimney into the steamer. There are no holes in the bottom of the pot so all the juices are saved inside! This allows you to season with herbs and spices if you wish but most importantly, saves all the nutrients in a pure and delicious broth extracted by the steam.
A website independent of large platforms... does that still exist?
The answer is yes! le-steamer.com is a static website, it doesn't collect your data,
it doesn't leave cookies in your navigator. It's fast, light, secure and uses very little energy on
web servers. This is a deliberate
choice on our part and we stand by it. Follow this link to learn more about static websites.
Today, thanks to our friend Xavier, a talented web developer, a new ordering
system has been implemented. Paying by bank transfer has been simplified and on-line
payment by credit card or PayPal is once again available, all without changing the basic structure
of our dear old... static
website!
